Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Easy Choice Finance (the “Service”), operated by Easy Choice Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Easy Choice Finance is a household finance and budgeting tool. Features may include manual entry, statement import (CSV/OFX/QFX), optional bank connections through a third-party aggregator (currently Plaid), matching/review, receipts, reports, and notifications. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Access may require an invitation and may be limited. The Service is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.

Bank linking and sync depend on Plaid and your financial institutions. Connections may require reconnect after password or multi-factor changes at the bank. Availability of institutions and data freshness are outside our control.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for authorizing bank links only for accounts you are allowed to access, and for disconnecting links when that access should end.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any data that matters to you (exports, statements, receipts, etc.).
You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and only for households and accounts you are authorized to manage.

3. Use at your own risk — no warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results (balances, synced or imported transactions, projections, payoff estimates, OCR suggestions, reports, digests, or other calculations) will be accurate or complete. Third-party feeds (including Plaid and your banks) may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. There are no guarantees regarding the functionality of the site.

4. Limitation of liability — data loss

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Easy Choice Solutions and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise.

We are not liable for any missing, corrupted, incorrect, or deleted data — including data removed by you, by another household member, by account deletion, by import/sync mistakes, by bugs, by maintenance, or by infrastructure failure. You acknowledge that financial decisions based on the Service are yours alone.

5. Households and shared access

If you join a household, other members may view or change shared financial data according to their roles. Owners control membership (invite, roles, remove, transfer ownership). We are not responsible for actions taken by other members of your household.

6. Account suspension, disablement, and termination

You may delete your account from Settings, subject to ownership rules for shared households. Site administrators may lock (temporary) or disable (soft-block) accounts for abuse, security risk, or operational reasons without deleting household financial data. Disablement prevents sign-in until an administrator re-enables the account. We may also suspend or terminate access as needed. Deletion may permanently remove solo-household data; see the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version identifier above will change when material updates are published. Continued use after changes (or acceptance of a newer version at signup) constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
